Procedure: A suspension of 260 (400 mg, 1.36 mmol) and benzenesulfonyl hydrazine (702 mg, 4.08 mmol) in DMF (7 ml) was stirred at 100° C. during 48 h. The solvent was evaporated and the residue was diluted in AcOEt, washed with NH4Cl sat., brine, dried over anhydrous MgSO4, filtered and concentrated. The crude residue was then purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (5% AcOEt/HEx) to afford the title compound 264 (170 mg, 42%) as a white solid. LRMS: 296.1 (Calc.); 297.0 (found). The solvent was evaporated the residue was diluted in AcOEt washed with NH4Cl sat., brine dried over anhydrous MgSO4 filtered concentrated The crude residue was then purified by flash chromatography on silica gel (5% AcOEt/HEx)

Procedure: 12.1 mmol (1.65 g) of 1-hydroxy-7-azabenzotriazole and 18 mmol (3.45 g) of EDCI are added in succession to a solution of 12 mmol (2.85 g) of 4-[(tert-butoxycarbonyl)amino]benzoic acid in 20 ml of dimethylformamide. The reaction mixture is stirred at room temperature for one hour, and 18 mmol (3.1 g) of benzenesulphonohydrazide are added. After stirring for eight hours at room temperature, the reaction mixture is poured into 100 ml of a 10% hydrochloric acid solution and extracted four times with 50 ml of ethyl acetate. The organic phase is washed twice with 50 ml of water and then three times with an aqueous saturated sodium hydrogen carbonate solution and once with 50 ml of an aqueous saturated sodium chloride solution. After drying over magnesium sulphate, filtration and concentration, the expected product is obtained. After stirring for eight hours at room temperature extracted four times with 50 ml of ethyl acetate The organic phase is washed twice with 50 ml of water After drying over magnesium sulphate, filtration and concentration

Procedure: 25 g of benzenesulfonic acid hydrazide, 200 ml of water, 20 ml of 10 N hydrochloric acid, and 1.25 g of a condensation product of stearic acid with taurine were stirred for 30 minutes. After 60 g of ice were added, 34 ml of an aqueous sodium nitrite solution having a content of 30 g of sodium nitrite per 100 ml of solution were added dropwise over a period of about 30 minutes. The mixture was stirred for 30 minutes while an excess of nitrite was maintained. The excess nitrite was destroyed with a small amount of amidosulfonic acid and the mixture was neutralized with about 5 ml of 10 N sodium hydroxide solution. An emulsion of benzenesulfonic acid azide was obtained. were added dropwise over a period of about 30 minutes was maintained The excess nitrite was destroyed with a small amount of amidosulfonic acid

Procedure: A four neck flask (1 liter) equipped with a thermometer, a reflux condenser and a stirrer was charged with 86 g (0.5 mol) of benzenesulfonohydrazide and 700 ml of methanol, and 57.6 g (0.6 mol) of furfural was dropwise added thereto in one hour while stirring at room temperature and heated under reflux for about 5 hours. The reaction liquid was cooled down to 20° C. or lower, and then crystal was filtered off and dried under reduced pressure, whereby white crystal was obtained.
