Procedure: N,N-Dimethylformamide (3.0 mL), potassium carbonate (0.12 g), and 1-(3-bromopropyl)-4-methylpiperazine (0.30 g) were sequentially added to tert-butyl 2-(2-(benzyloxy)-5-hydroxybenzamido)-4-phenylbenzoate (0.15 g), followed by stirring at 100° C. for 1 hour and 20 minutes. Potassium carbonate (0.12 g) was added to the reaction mixture, followed by stirring at 100° C. for 50 minutes. Water and chloroform were added to the reaction mixture. The organic layer was separated, washed with a saturated aqueous solution of sodium chloride, and dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, and the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure. The obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography [eluent: 100-92% chloroform/methanol] to obtain 0.060 g of tert-butyl 2-(2-(benzyloxy)-5-(3-(4-methylpiperazin-1-yl)propoxy)benzamido)-4-phenylbenzoate. by stirring at 100° C. for 50 minutes The organic layer was separated washed with a saturated aqueous solution of sodium chloride dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate the solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure The obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography [eluent: 100-92% chloroform/methanol]
