Procedure: The perfluoropolyether bis(isocyanate) described above was heated with 2.2 equivalents of 1,3-dimercapto-2-propanol in 1:1 ethyl perfluorobutyl ether/dimethylformamide with catalytic dibutyltin dilaurate at reflux for four hours.
