Procedure: A solution of 5-(4-fluorophenoxy)-1-isobutyl-1H-indazole-6-carboxylic acid (compound 10g, prepared as described in Example 46) in THF was treated with carbonyldiimidazole (1.2 equivalents) at room temperature under nitrogen atmosphere. After stirring for 18 hours, the reaction was treated with N1-Methyl-N1-phenyl-propane-1,3-diamine (1 equivalent). After 18 additional hours, the solvent was allowed to slowly evaporate and the residue was purified in a Sep Pak cartridge eluting with a gradient of 100% CH2Cl2 to 5% MeOH/CH2Cl2 to provide compound 11g-12 as an oil in 78% yield. to slowly evaporate the residue was purified in a Sep Pak cartridge eluting with a gradient of 100% CH2Cl2 to 5% MeOH/CH2Cl2 to provide compound 11g-12 as an oil in 78% yield

Procedure: To 300 mg (1.389 mmol) of the 3-bromo-6-fluoroimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine, was added N1-methyl-N1-phenylpropane-1,3-diamine (456 mg, 2.778 mmol) Cs2CO3 (903 mg, 2.778 mmol) and 10 mL DMF. This mixture is stirred overnight at rt. It was diluted with 30 mL EtOAc, and 15 mL of water. The organic layer was washed with brine and dried over MgSO4. It was concentrated and purified using silica gel chromatography (ISCO) eluting with 0-10% MeOH/DCM to obtain 301 mg (60%) of product. The organic layer was washed with brine dried over MgSO4 It was concentrated purified eluting with 0-10% MeOH/DCM

Procedure: N-(3-Aminopropyl)-N-methylaniline [S. L. Shapiro et al., J. Am. Chem. Soc., 81, 3081 (1958)](8.3 g) was dissolved in dichloromethane (50 ml). Maleic anhydride (6 g) was added portionwise under ice-cooling and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The solvent was distilled off and then acetic anhydride (20 ml) was added. The resulting mixture was allowed to stand at room temperature for 2 days. The reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 2 hours and further at 100° C. for 2 hours. The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure and the residue was extracted with ethyl acetate. The organic layer was neutralized with an aqueous sodium bicarbonate, washed with saturated brine and dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate. After concentration, the residue was subjected to column chromatography on silica gel and eluted with hexane/ethyl acetate (4:1). The desired compound thus obtained was recrystallized from the same solvent to obtain the compound as yellow needles (4.1 g). cooling The solvent was distilled off acetic anhydride (20 ml) was added to stand at room temperature for 2 days The reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C. for 2 hours and further at 100° C. for 2 hours The mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure the residue was extracted with ethyl acetate washed with saturated brine dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate After concentration eluted with hexane/ethyl acetate (4:1)
