Procedure: Prepared from 3-(1-methylethyl)-1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-one (prepared from 1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-one and acetone by the method of Daisley and Walker, J. Chem. Soc. (C) (1971) page 1373) by the method described above for 3-methylthio-3-phenylmethyl-1,3-dihydro-2H-indol-2-one.
