Procedure: At 25 bis 30° C. and while stirring, 5.9 g (0.093 mol) of 88% strength potassium hydroxide powder was added over a period of 5 minutes to a solution of 28.4 g (0.164 Mol) of 2-hydroxybenzenesulfonamide in 200 ml of acetone. At 40° to 50° C. and while stirring, 29.6 g (0.254 mol) of chlorotrifluoroethylene was gassed in over a period of 12 hours. The precipitate was filtered off under such and washed with acetone. The filtrate was evaporated down under reduced pressure, stirred into 700 ml of water, suction filtered, washed and dried. There was obtained 28.8 g (60.7%) of the title compound of m.p. 113° to 116° C. At 40° to 50° C. and while stirring was gassed in over a period of 12 hours The precipitate was filtered off under such and washed with acetone The filtrate was evaporated down under reduced pressure stirred into 700 ml of water, suction filtered washed dried

Procedure: A mixture of 3.5 g of 2-hydroxyphenylsulfonamide, 5.5 g of potassium carbonate and 1.7 ml of allyl bromide in 100 ml of methyl ethyl ketone is stirred, under nitrogen, for 1 hour at reflux temperature. The reaction mixture is cooled to room temperature, filtered, and evaporated to dryness. One recrystallisation from ethyl acetate yields 3.27 g of 2-allyloxyphenylsulfonamide with a melting point of 104°-105° C. at reflux temperature filtered evaporated to dryness One recrystallisation from ethyl acetate

Procedure: 22.2 ml of boron tribromide are added dropwise, under nitrogen and at room temperature, over 15 minutes to a suspension of 39 g of 2-methoxyphenylsulfonamide in 210 ml of dry methylene chloride. The reaction mixture is then stirred for 1 hour at room temperature. After the mixture has been cooled to 0° C., 200 ml of methanol are added over 15 minutes and the clear solution is concentrated. The oily residue is taken up in ethyl acetate and the solution is washed twice with water, dried over sodium sulfate, and evaporated to dryness. The residue is triturated with petroleum ether, affording 25.1 g of 2-hydroxyphenylsulfonamide with a melting point of 136°-138° C. After the mixture has been cooled to 0° C. the clear solution is concentrated the solution is washed twice with water dried over sodium sulfate evaporated to dryness The residue is triturated with petroleum ether

Procedure: A mixture of 35 g of 2-hydroxyphenylsulfonamide, 55.2 g of potassium carbonate, 15.5 ml of propargyl bromide and 1000 ml of ethyl methyl ketone is refluxed for 1.5 hours; it is then cooled, filtered, and concentrated by evaporation. The yield after recrystallisation of the residue from ethyl acetate is 30 g of 2-propargyloxyphenylsulfonamide, m.p. 143°-145° C. is refluxed for 1.5 hours it is then cooled filtered concentrated by evaporation The yield after recrystallisation of the residue from ethyl acetate
