Procedure: From 4-iodo-N,N-dimethylbenzamide (2.5 g) and N-[6-[(2-propynyl)oxy]-hexyl]benzenemethanamine (2.23 g). FCC purification eluting with ethyl acetate-triethylamine (100:1) gave the title compound as an orange oil (2.96 g), t.l.c. (Ethyl acetate+few drops triethylamine) Rf 0.15. FCC purification eluting with ethyl acetate-triethylamine (100:1)

Procedure: 4-Iodobenzoyl chloride (10.0 g) was added portionwise to dimethylamine (1.8 g) in triethylamine (40 ml) at 0°. The suspension was stirred at 0° for 1 h, treated with chloroform (200 ml), washed with aqueous sodium bicarbonate (1 M; 100 ml), dried and evaporated to give the title compound (9.7 g) m.p. 103°-106°. washed with aqueous sodium bicarbonate (1 M; 100 ml) dried evaporated

Procedure: A mixture of 4-iodo-N,N-dimethylbenzamide (100 mg, 0.36 mmol), 3-(trifluoromethyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-indazole (83 mg, 0.44 mmol), copper (I) iodide (1 mol %, 0.7 mg, 0.0036 mmol), trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane (10 mol %, 4 mg, 0.036 mmol) and potassium carbonate (105 mg, 0.76 mmol) in 1,4-dioxane (0.5 ml) was stirred at 180° C. in a microwave reactor for 15 minutes, then fresh copper (I) iodide (1 mol %, 0.7 mg, 0.0036 mmol) and trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane (10 mol %, 4 mg, 0.036 mmol) were added and the reaction stirred at 180° C. in a microwave reactor for 20 minutes. Then fresh copper (I) iodide (1 mol %, 0.7 mg, 0.0036 mmol) and trans-1,2-diaminocyclohexane (10 mol %, 4 mg, 0.036 mmol) were added and the reaction stirred at 180° C. in a microwave reactor for 30 minutes. The reaction mix was cooled and added to a 5 g pre-packed silica column which was then eluted from ethyl acetate, the product was further purified by mass directed auto-prep to give a crop of the title compound as a brown oil (53 mg, 43%). the reaction stirred at 180° C. in a microwave reactor for 20 minutes the reaction stirred at 180° C. in a microwave reactor for 30 minutes The reaction mix was cooled added to a 5 g pre-packed silica column which was then eluted from ethyl acetate the product was further purified by mass

Procedure: A suspension of dimethylamine hydrochloride (2.45 g, 30 mmol) in dichloromethane (150 ml) was cooled in an ice/methanol bath and then treated with triethylamine (6.0 g, 59 mmol) followed by 4-iodobenzoyl chloride (8.0 g, 30 mmol) portionwise with stirring under an atmosphere of argon. The reaction mixture was allowed to stir at room temperature for 30 minutes before the solution was washed with water (2×100 ml). The organic layer was separated, dried over sodium sulphate, and evaporated under reduced pressure to give the title compound as a light beige coloured solid (7.73 g, 94%). was cooled in an ice/methanol bath to stir at room temperature for 30 minutes before the solution was washed with water (2×100 ml) The organic layer was separated dried over sodium sulphate evaporated under reduced pressure
