Procedure: A mixture of 1.50 g (4.24 mmol; purity: 90%) (S)-4-benzyl-2-propyl-piperazine-1-carboxylic acid tert-butyl ester and 150 mg palladium on carbon in 30 mL methanol was hydrogenated at RT for 6 h at 3 bar. The catalyst was removed by filtration and the solvent was evaporated in vacuo. The catalyst was removed by filtration the solvent was evaporated in vacuo
