Procedure: Into a 10 mL pressure vessel equipped with a magnetic stir bar was placed 0.1 g (0.266 mmol) 5-bromo-N-(4-fluorobenzyl)-8-hydroxy-1,6-naphthyridine-7-carboxamide (see Example 126), 0.031 g (0.27 mmol) N,N-dimethyl-2-(methylamino)acetamide, 0.726 mL (0.8 mmol) N,N-diisopropylethylamine and 5 mL DMF. The vessel was sealed and heated on an oil bath to 135° C. for 18 hrs., after which the mixture was cooled and the solvent removed in vacuo. The residue was purified by reverse phase HPLC on a C18 column using acetonitrile/water as eluent to give 5-[[2-(dimethylamino)-2-oxoethyl](methyl)amino]-N-(4-fluorobenzyl)-8-hydroxy-1,6-naphthyridine-7-carboxamide. Procedure: To a mixture of tert-butyl 5-(6-(2-chloroethoxy)-2-[(3-phenyl)phenyl)-7-methoxyquinazolin-4-ylamino)-1H-indazole-1-carboxylate (0.25 g, 0.40 mmole) in DMSO (2 mL) was added N,N-dimethyl-2-(methylamino)acetamide (0.232 g, 2.00 mmole) and the reaction was stirred at 85° C. for 4 h. The mixture was poured onto ice-water and the crude product was filtered. The product was then dissolved in a mixture of CH2Cl2 and CH3OH and the solution was concentrated in vacuo. The residue was purified via preparative TLC (SiO2, 10% CH2Cl2/CH3OH). To the product was added TFA (4 mL) and the reaction was stirred at RT for 2 h. The solution was concentrated in vacuo and the residue was triturated with ether, filtered and dried under vacuum to give 2-((2-(4-(1H-indazol-5-ylamino)-2-[(3-phenyl)phenyl)-7-methoxyquinazolin-6-yloxy)ethyl)(methyl)amino)-N,N-dimethylacetamide (0.178 g, 0.30 mmole, 74%). Procedure: Under nitrogen atmosphere, trimethylaluminium (1.03 M n-hexane solution, 1.19 ml, 1.23 mmol) was dropwise added at room temperature to a dichloromethane (2 ml) solution of N,N-dimethyl-2-methylaminoacetamide (143 mg, 1.23 mmol), and stirred for 35 minutes. Subsequently, a dichloromethane (2 ml) solution of ethyl 4-cyano-7-fluoro-5-methyl-6-phenyl-1,3-benzoxazole-2-carboxylate (I-111) (200 mg, 617 μmol) was dropwise added and stirred for 66.5 hours. After the reaction, aqueous 1 N hydrochloric acid solution was added to the reaction liquid with cooling with ice, followed by stirring at room temperature, and the reaction liquid was extracted with chloroform. Next, the obtained organic layers were combined, dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate, filtered, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure. The resulting residue was subjected to silica gel column chromatography, and the eluate with ethyl acetate gave the entitled compound (144 mg, 59%) as an amorphous substance. stirred for 66.5 hours was added to the reaction liquid with cooling with ice by stirring at room temperature the reaction liquid was extracted with chloroform dried over anhydrous magnesium sulfate filtered the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure
