Procedure: 13.7 g(50 mmoles) of 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4,4-dichloro-2,4,6-trisilaheptane were placed in the flask of the same set as Example 1, and then 1.8 g(60 mmoles) of dry methanol were added. The mixture was heated at 70° C. for 2 hrs. The amount of the product was 9.92 g and the yield 74%.
