Procedure: Following Step 1 from General Procedure A, 3-bromothiophene-2-carboxylic acid (1.3 g, 6.3 mmol) was reacted with 2,3-difluoro-4-methoxyaniline (960 mg, 7.5 mmol) to afford the desired product (2.2 g, >99%): ESI MS m/z 349 [C12H8BrF2NO2S+H]+.
