Procedure: The general method of procedure A was followed with 3-pentanesulfonamide (10 g), acetone (300 ml), 1N sodium hydroxide (56 ml), and 4-chlorophenyl isocyanate (9.6 g) dissolved in 70 ml of acetone. After two hours of stirring, 1N HCl (66 ml) was added followed by more water.
